B.A.P is officially ending ‘Crash’ promotions.
B.A.P came back after completing their Taiwanese showcase on September 22 and will end their ‘Crash’ promotions.
B.A.P released their first mini-album in July,
with a title track called ‘NO MERCY’ that had a dialect rap and
incorporated Korean traditional music into hip-hop rhythms. Afterward,
they reached 60,000 members of their fancafe through their cute love
song ‘Crash,’ which is based on British rock, proving their title as
‘2012 Best Rookie.’
‘NO MERCY’ not only ranked number one on the
German Asian Music Chart in August, but held first place on Taiwan’s
g—music K-POP Album Chart for four weeks, proving B.A.P’s popularity
throughout Asia and Europe.
‘Crash’ shows a lovable boy’s image in contrast to
B.A.P’s usual manliness. They also had a comical stage with ‘Gag
Concert’s star ‘Brownie’ and received heated reactions from fans.
To prove this, their showcase held in the capital
of Tawian, Taipei, on September 22 attracted 2,000 fans and when they
entered, the many fans that came to cheer on B.A.P all gathered at once
and collapsed the perimeter barriers. Around 50 sources of media,
including Channel V, MTV, and UDN, attended their press conference and
reported B.A.P as the new generation of K-POP, praising them to be
‘K-POP Rookie Kings’
